    Ernie Koeck founded True Construction Ltd. in 1995 and has led the company for three decades, building a strong reputation for quality and trust in the industry. With over 35 years of experience as a carpenter and extensive expertise in construction management, Ernie is a Gold Seal Certified Project Manager who brings a wealth of knowledge to every project. His commitment to owner satisfaction and safety is unmatched, and he is well respected by clients and project consultants alike. Under Ernie’s leadership, True Construction has successfully delivered a wide range of projects, from major mill expansions to commercial developments, always prioritizing quality and reliability.

    Marcus Koeck, GSI - General Manager

    Marcus Koeck began his construction career early, spending weekends on jobsites while still in high school and even helping build his family home at just nine years old. After gaining valuable experience in the Lower Mainland on multi-million dollar high-rise projects—progressing from labourer to Layout Superintendent and Formwork Systems Designer—Marcus rejoined True Construction in 2010. With over 25 years of industry experience, Marcus has successfully managed a wide range of projects, from residential and institutional renovations to large-scale healthcare and water system developments. As Project Manager and General Manager, he is known for his leadership, technical expertise, and ability to deliver projects ranging from $20,000 to over $18 million with a strong focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

    Anthony Koeck, EIT - Civil Manager

    Anthony Koeck is a graduate of UBCO’s engineering program and currently serves as Civil Manager at True Construction. As an Engineer in Training (EIT), Anthony combines formal engineering knowledge with his over 20 years of hands-on construction experience. He has managed and supervised a wide range of civil projects, including the GR Baker ICU+ED civil works, Barriere water system upgrade, and the St. Paul Medical Building. Known for his strong problem-solving abilities, Anthony is recognized for developing ingenious solutions to complex site challenges. His commitment to quality and reliability is evident in every project he oversees.

    Thomas Gibson, GSI - Safety and Compliance

With a diverse background as a project manager and site superintendent, Thomas now oversees safety and compliance for the company, ensuring that every job site operates at the highest standard. Known for his professionalism and dedication, Thomas is also highly regarded for his commitment to safety, client satisfaction, and community involvement.

    Dana St Pierre - Site Superintendent

    With over 40 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Dana St. Pierre brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to True Construction Ltd. As Site Superintendent, Dana excels in overseeing all aspects of commercial and instituional construction, with a strong background in both concrete and wood framing. Known for his expert blueprint reading, leadership, and communication skills, Dana ensures every project runs smoothly and safely. He has successfully led teams on major projects, including hospital renovations and large-scale residential developments, earning a reputation for reliability and quality workmanship.

    Cody Keeping - Site Superintendent

    With over 20 years of experience as a Carpenter, Cody Keeping brings exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail to his role as Superintendent at True Construction. Cody’s background in high-end finish carpentry, combined with his experience as a general contractor, gives him a keen eye for quality and precision on every project. Since joining True Construction’s management team, Cody has played a key role in coordinating and supervising complex renovations, including major upgrades to senior living facilities and healthcare spaces. His dedication to getting every detail right ensures that each project meets the highest standards of excellence.

    Larry Blaine - Civil Foreman

    Larry Blaine brings more than 40 years of experience in civil construction to his role as Civil Foreman at True Construction. Since joining the company in 2020, Larry has demonstrated exceptional skill as both an equipment operator and truck driver. His extensive background includes civil projects for Ducks Unlimited, environmental remediation, infrastructure development, land clearing, logging, and heavy demolition. Larry’s wide-ranging expertise and commitment to quality ensure that every phase of site preparation and earthworks is completed safely and efficiently, making him a valuable asset to the True Construction team.
